Manatee Lagoon is an incredible free attraction next to the FPL power plant, where warm water discharge attracts dozens (sometimes hundreds) of manatees during cooler months (November–March). The eco-center has interactive exhibits, and the viewing deck puts you right above the gentle giants. It's an only-in-Florida experience that visitors absolutely love.
